Moving On

Moving on is necessary to everyone. This term is use if someone who had a tragic situation that needs to forget or at least needs to leave behind to be able to continue on the life that’s been forgotten because of that situation. But as time goes by the real meaning of moving on was forgotten by everyone. They tend to use this words for an unimportant things like when the professor yell them out then their classmates will say that they must move on to that incident. Though it’s applicable, but the main point of the word its self slowly became an expression as time goes by.
Well let’s discuss the real meaning of moving on. Moving on is not a simple word, its not as simple as we think. Its more complicated actually, its more confusing and definitely its not that easy to apply in our life as we face taught situation that’s needs moving on to be applied. First thing why do we need to move on? We need to move because there things in our life that are affected if we don’t. These things maybe less affected or greatly affected. But in whatever degree it is, still it is affected. We need to move on because the things we had lost are not the only things in our life. We should consider the things around us. The things we had lost are not the only thing we live on. It’s not our only priority; we should be fare in prioritizing things in our life. Though I am not saying that we should not be sad or for worst morn for it but we should learn to let go the pain we had and the sorrow that lives within. We could have a life apart from those things we had lost and I assure you we can continue doing things without the things we had lost. But I also insist that moving on is a process, it is learn like any other subjects in school. The only requirements we need are trust in God and rely on his wisdom. We should not be boastful that we can do everything. I fact we are nothing without him. Moving on is not really easy. It requires strength to forget the things or the person that has left for a while or for good. But as God is strong he will provide strength for us to face those sorrowful nights in our bed crying, he will hide us in his living arms and he will wipe those tears away soon enough after we decided to gave him everything.

Bible

Bible

I’ll always remember our pastor who held up his well worn Bible and said “Every believer should wreck a copy of the BIBLE every 10 years”. In other words, we should use our Bibles so much that we gradually wear out. His challenge also reminds me of the falling apart is usually owned by someone who isn’t. This certainly became true for me.

One day I sensed that God was reminding me His word is full of truth that works. From that point on, I desired to put those truths into action in my life. For me, the Bible was no longer just a guilt producer and a dust collector. Little by little, as I read it, digested it, and underlined key phrases, my Bible began falling apart. Instead of me! As a Christian we must put into practice every verses or passages we read from the Bible or God’s Word, proving that they work.

The WORD of God is living and wonderful”. Hebrews 4:12

I Thank God I Dont Have Anything

In my way going home I saw people around. They have a very good model of cellphone. They have nice clothes, I simply smile and wish i have those stuff as them.As I continued walking I saw a group of friends chatting, launghing and eating delicious foods at a very fancy restaurant, I saw people playing their PSP, I saw people with their cars and I realized I dont have any of those. I cant eat on afancy restaurant, I dont have PSP to play with, even a simple car i dont have. I felt so sad watching them enjoying those stuff I wish i had, I sad that all I have in me is the clothes I wear and myself.I dont even have money to ride a jeep going home. I just continued walking leaving them with sadness and jealousy in my heart. Then I past by on a park near side the river, I saw a shadow forming a very familliar image I know, we all know. The cross, I stop for a while thinking all the things I saw along the way, thinking ll those stuff I wanted to be mine. Then I just smile and felt that all those things is part of my foolishness. Yes I dont have a car, nice clothes , I dont eat on a fancy restaurant, But i have GOD in my heart. When I saw that cross I finally thank him that I dont have anything, because I can fully depend on GOD. All my needs He will provide, all this emptiness he will supply. I thank GOD i dont have anything 'coz out of that nothing I recognized His power and provision.
