Ten Ways to Worship Without Music-Tobin Perry

1. Worship through prayer. We often miss this important component of our prayer life. Think about the issues you usually pray about. How much of your prayer life is about you and how much of it is about God? Without a doubt God wants us to be able to share everything that is going on in our life. But he also wants us to get to know Him better. When we affirm who God is through our prayers, we put our prayer life in proper perspective. That's exactly how Jesus taught us to pray. Look at the Lord's Prayer in the Gospel of Mathew (6: 9-13); Jesus starts the prayer off by saying "Our Father who is in Heaven, May Your name be honored." (NLT) Jesus teaches us an important lesson with this prayer. Prayer starts with God. Consider including in your prayers a time of focused attention on who God is.
2. Get in a regular habit of reading the Bible. The Bible says that we worship God in "spirit and in truth." How can we ever worship God without a clear understanding of who He is? The truth about God is essential to worship. Pay special attention to the book of Psalms. No book in the Bible spends as much time carefully describing who God is.
3. Obey God. Rick Warren mentions in The Purpose Driven Life that we worship God when we obey Him. We all need to build the habit of obedience into our lives. Take practical steps to see that this is a part of your life. Whenever you sense God is speaking to you, make it a regular practice to respond immediately. Don't let procrastination weigh you down. If you can't do it immediately, write down whatever God has been putting on your heart, so that you can do it SOON!
4. Tithe. If you want to know what in your life you worship, look at your checkbook register. The Bible teaches us this important lesson: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Mathew 6:21 NIV) God wants us to surrender our entire being to Him. One way to show that is by making Him Lord of our pocketbook. If you are already a committed tither, consider raising the percentage you are willing to give.
5. Build deep relationships with other Christians. The Bible teaches that God designed us to live in community with other Christians. We bring God pleasure by getting to know others and being known by them. At Saddleback, the primary way we do this is through small groups.
6. Share you faith. John Piper made many of us re-look at why we share our faith when he wrote a few years ago: "Missions exists because worship doesn't." God wants every person on the planet to worship him, not because He is an egomaniac who needs our praise, but because worship is how we are designed by God. He wants the best for us.

Take time this week to share your spiritual journey with someone else. Tell them how you came to faith in Christ. Don't worry about their response. Relax in the knowledge that you are playing a part in expanding God's world-wide worship.
7. Serve others. Jesus tells us that "when you did it to the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did to me!" (Matt. 25:40 NLT) When we serve one another, Jesus tells us we are really serving Him. If you don't think you have any gifts that are useful to serve, you are wrong. God made you with talents and gifts that He specifically gave you to serve others.
8. Build into your life the attitude of thankfulness. This requires looking at the world through a different set of eyes. When we look through the lens of thankfulness, we see our lives—and everything in it—as all gifts from God. Develop your own spiritual exercise each morning that demonstrates that you are putting on your lens of thankfulness. Then begin to thank God for all of the good things in your life.
9. Begin turning over to God areas of your life that you have never committed to Him. This is the heart of worship — surrender. God won't settle for 90 percent of your life; He wants all of it. You might have been a follower of Jesus for years, but you still have areas of your life that you are holding back from Him. What are those areas? Only you know that. Two good places to look are your checkbook and your planner. Look at the areas of your life where you spend the most money and the most time. Do they honor God?

If you are human, you have sin in your life that you need to surrender. Think back over the past month and write down all of the times you remember disobeying clear teaching from God. Then look for patterns. If you find patterns of sin in your life, these are areas of your life you need to surrender to God. Right at the moment, start praying for God to help you overcome that sin. Ask your small group to pray for you.
10. Live a life of purpose. God has a reason for your existence. In fact, He has five: fellowship, discipleship, ministry, evangelism and worship. You please God when you live in step with His purposes. God doesn't want you to waste your life.
You were designed for God's pleasure. The purpose of worship is the foundation of the other four purposes. Fellowship without the spirit of worship is just "hanging out." Discipleship without worship is nothing but a fruitless mental exercise. Ministry without worship is called "spinning your wheels." Evangelism without worship is a misplaced sales pitch.
Worship isn't simply one area of your life; it is your life. Start right this moment by surrendering your life to God. Then spend the rest of your life learning to worship Him more fully.

Work Of Art

I’m glad because I found the right view

The color and the right stroke

I’m glad because finally I can draw

The dreams that I dreamt of.

I can see the falling cherry blossoms

The blooming daffodils.

I can see the wide sky

And the natures lush green

Truly the work of art with passion

Can do anything, can touch the heart of the broken

But the work of art without passion for it

Can consider as fading colors of the rainbow

I love arts, I love the colors glow

I love the beauty that the alpha and omega made

I love everything about it

Especially the masterpiece I made just for you.

Treasure chances

Just one chance and I’ll grab it
Just one chance and I will treasure it
Just one chance and I will work for it
Just to have that only chance I will cry for it

Millions of chances came, I ignore
Millions of chances across, I ask for more
Millions of chances easy come and go

Millions of chances, I let go

Now crying isn’t enough
Now working hard doesn’t seems enough

Now looking for chances is tiring
And now I’m waiting for a chance to have chance

Work hard, cry hard, and look forward
To see millions of chances ahead
Grab it, treasure it and be with it
Don’t let chances come and go.

SOLDOUT-SBC Youth Ministry

We live in a society that loves to hide the truth, where people focus more in maintaining a good image rather than making an effort in building character. This generation is deprived in knowing and living the Truth the way it should be. Distorted view about love, happiness, love, success, values, relationship, family, sex, and God has been developed. A generation that declares “truth is whatever you think is right; no boundaries, no limitations, no standards and no substitutes.”

SOLD OUT is a youth ministry that caters to the youth (13-35) in all walks of life. Our desire is to inform, educate and confront the young people of our community the truths about God and how it is significant in their lives it is to know and where they could be headed. The choices we make today will not just affect us but everybody around us. This conference provides sound and relevant teachings in dealing issues like peer pressure, self-esteem, sexual purity, addictions and other issues being faced by the contemporary youth in a way that is both educational and recreational.

The only generation that can reach this generation is our generation.
-John Stott

i'm Amazed

I saw what my eyes can get

It is God’s amazing creation

God’s wonderful idea

And God’s perfect plan

I saw the nature’s lush green

The falling leaves of the tree

The glooming fragrant of thy majesty

And the lovable colors he made

I saw what he can do

I saw how the nature worship him

There are storms, waves, and murmuring wind

There are clapping thunders and struck full lightning

Sad is it that those amazing creations is fading

Those joyous colors slowly gone

It became black, white and turning into gray

Covered by smoke, dust and dirt

Excessive Worry can kill a Mouse

The mouse is a great worrier. They worry because any time they can be catch by someone. So as you observe their behavior whenever they go out to the world they are too conscious about the things happening around them. Its being natural that they are worried because someone can harm them anytime but they are too worried like any other animals around. For example the cat. The cockroaches though they know that the can be killed by anyone anytime still they allow themselves to go out and explore the world. So whenever the mouse worried about things somethings happened like they because of too much worry they are being bump by the cars rushing on the street. So definitely worrying can kill a mouse. Like us were not mouse but we worry a lot on our life. We worry for the food, we worry for what people say about us, we worry even for the clothes we should for that. None sense worry or excessive worry does not glorify God. Its insulting him saying he is not able to supply and sustain your needs. He is God and we forgot it because we worry a lot. We forgot that he died to us and he will not let us suffer a lot. He will provide we forgot that most of the time.

Unimaginable

A creation like me cannot imagine the creator’s hand. How he carefully mold every created things on earth. How he carefully put every detail in everything. It’s so great how he put every organ in to its proper place, perfect to worship him. It’s so amazing how he makes everything beautiful and how he puts love to his every creation. It’s so overwhelming how he created me and handles me that time, so fragile, so weak and how he carefully put details into my being. A created being like me cannot imagine how he could see my past and my future and how he puts people into my life for a perfect blend. So funny how he allows problems, burdens, pains to make me mature and more beautiful and to make life sweeter. Very great how he showed me how to live right but so sad that I wasn’t able to follow it well. How great is my creator right? How awesome he is. I am so amazed how he made birds fly, how he made water flows and how he made me breath. I cannot imagine the plans he has for me and the only premise I must do is to obey and follow. I cannot contain the over joy I’m feeling right now. Hope you are too. Hope that you are overwhelm because he puts time to create you and to love you.

Bow Down For You Not To Sin

John 7:24

“Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.”

We people are great commentators and criticizers; we easily can see the others fault rather than seeing what could be positive on them. The most common thing we do is this: riding on the train or on the bus going home from work or school then a person who is not so fashionable according to our fashion sense came in and ride the bus you were in, so as human and as part of our natural characteristic we tend to judge the person from the style of his/her hair, the color and style of the clothes he/she wear, the shoes on his feet, the color of eyes, the number of pimples on his/her face, the person’s cellular phone, their bag, the way he react on things, his expressions, how he/she stands, and even the colors of the nails that person has. So eventually with those things we recognize and criticized we did not recognize that we fall into sin by simply saying that the color of her dress doesn’t fit her skin tone with sarcastic intonation of voice. We don’t realize that the person we criticize is not required to meet our high standards of living and no one requires them to please us. They can actually wear any color or style they want. When we see the fault of our officemate or classmate we as human falling into sin tend to judge in a ways we never knew. Like when she lied to you and you don’t tell her fault to her but instead you’re looking for sympathy from others by telling them what she had done to you in a wrong manner you actually disobeying God’s command in Matthew 18:15 saying that “if your brother sin against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you”.
We tend to judge through appearance, through how they wear their dress. We judge wrongly and not giving ourselves a chance to even know the person. We judge without even realizing that God accepted us the way we are, we judge without even realizing that God accepted everyone the way they really are, that Jesus died on the cross not only for fashionista’s but also for unfashionable once, Jesus died not for handsome and gorgeous man and lady alone but also for those who are not really blessed with looks. Jesus died for “EVERYONE”. So whenever you are in the situation that you are about to judge a person on the train your in, or on the bus your in, just remember one bow can avoid you to sin. Just one bow down your head, looking on the floor and not looking at the person may avoid the cause of sin. So whenever we bow down your head you should pray that God may say to you what to do in that situation. So let us remember to bow down in times of need.

Matthew 7:3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eyes and pay no attention to the plank in your own eyes”

I love him so much—I couldn’t resist II

“I betrayed him, I cheated on him”
(BY MAKEL)

Like what I said before his the kindest man I’ve ever seen yes he is the most thoughtful, the sweetest, my everything. But can you believe that the man I couldn’t live without is also the man I cheated a lot. Yes I cheated on him; I will not be so hypocrite to tell all of you. His perfect, a perfect man don’t deserve my kind, he gave me everything, he provided me all that I need, he gave me joy, an eternal security, and he gave his life just to take care of me and love me. But I still cheated on him. I did that not because I don’t love him, I did that because I though the man I met can do better than him, that that guy can love me more than his love on me. But I got it all wrong. No one will do better than him, no one in this world could love me more than he does, no one in this world can assure me an eternal peace and security, and no one in this world can do everything from the very start just to make me believe that he does really love me, just him. I realized all those things and I can’t find a way for me to say sorry and it’s hard to think how can he forgive me after all what I’ve done. So here I am trying to find words to say, trying to practice everything, I rehears every line and I take a deep breath. But when he saw me he immediately hugs me without any words from his mouth then I just cry coz he says that his been waiting for me to come home and that his waiting for me from the very fist day I left that the never close his door and his heart for me. Isn’t it nice? I realized that he still loves me no matter what happened, that he will still accept me no matter how many times I fail and no matter how many times I broke his heart. His really great and I could not find words to describe how great he is and how great full I am to find him and to be with him for the rest of my life. I couldn’t imagine that he still cares after what happened. And so funny that every time I ask him about what happened in the past he simply does not remember everything he said that its past, it’s forgiven, therefore we should not talk about it.
And now he stills the same as before. Sweet, kind, thoughtful, and maybe… no not maybe it’s… I can define all the most wonderful words one could define to a man. But maybe before I finish this story some of you want to know who this guy is right? Well this is the answer he is simply the one from above my GOD. The one and only true perfect creator in the world, my prince.
So if you would like to experience that kind of love he gave to me just lay down your life to him and for sure you will also experience the same love I experience in his arms not only in the past but in the years to come.

Moving On

Moving on is necessary to everyone. This term is use if someone who had a tragic situation that needs to forget or at least needs to leave behind to be able to continue on the life that’s been forgotten because of that situation. But as time goes by the real meaning of moving on was forgotten by everyone. They tend to use this words for an unimportant things like when the professor yell them out then their classmates will say that they must move on to that incident. Though it’s applicable, but the main point of the word its self slowly became an expression as time goes by.
Well let’s discuss the real meaning of moving on. Moving on is not a simple word, its not as simple as we think. Its more complicated actually, its more confusing and definitely its not that easy to apply in our life as we face taught situation that’s needs moving on to be applied. First thing why do we need to move on? We need to move because there things in our life that are affected if we don’t. These things maybe less affected or greatly affected. But in whatever degree it is, still it is affected. We need to move on because the things we had lost are not the only things in our life. We should consider the things around us. The things we had lost are not the only thing we live on. It’s not our only priority; we should be fare in prioritizing things in our life. Though I am not saying that we should not be sad or for worst morn for it but we should learn to let go the pain we had and the sorrow that lives within. We could have a life apart from those things we had lost and I assure you we can continue doing things without the things we had lost. But I also insist that moving on is a process, it is learn like any other subjects in school. The only requirements we need are trust in God and rely on his wisdom. We should not be boastful that we can do everything. I fact we are nothing without him. Moving on is not really easy. It requires strength to forget the things or the person that has left for a while or for good. But as God is strong he will provide strength for us to face those sorrowful nights in our bed crying, he will hide us in his living arms and he will wipe those tears away soon enough after we decided to gave him everything.

Newly Wed Everyday

BY MAKEL

This is what I feel every time I open my eyes every morning, “it’s my wedding day. “Every time I open my eyes in the morning I feel like I need to prepare for my wedding. I need to dress up well and I need to be the most beautiful lady in that day because I will be married. Every time I pray I feel like talking to my husband before the wedding ceremony. Every time I open my bible I feel like reading my fiancé’s love letter for me. Every time I’m in the midst of reading and that glimpse of smile in my face when I remember the blessings it’s like… saying I DO. And every time I close in prayer and saying my commitments that I will follow him the whole day I feel like I’m taking a bow, the promise, in sickness and in health till death do us part. When I finish my devotion in the morning I feel like married again to the most handsome husband in the world. But apart from that feeling I felt every time I pray is a big responsibility as a newly wed that I need to be faithful to him, that I need to do everything that he says, that I will follow him every step that I make. That because I’m married to his grace I also carry his name that’s why I need to be my best for them to see what its like to have him in live. And so as I became newly wed everyday I also pray that you will too.

You first love

One part in the history
You showed how one word should be
Thy majesty showed how to live
You set an example of right

I don’t know how to care
But because you showed it first
Like a teacher to its student
I learned how
I almost forgot how to serve others
Because I am too busy serving myself
But because you kneel before to the disciples feet
I realize that we are not worthy to be served

I almost forgot to give to others
But because set as an example by giving your life for me
I think I need to learn everything the hard way
And I think I need to be improve

I forgot to love others as I love my self
But because you demonstrate it into the cross
Now I know the reason why people love
“We love because, he first love us”

JESUS SAVES

Jesus and Satan were having an argument about who was better on his Computer. They had been going at it for days, and God has tired of hearing all the bickering. Finally, God said, “Cool it. I am going to set up a test which will take two hours and I will judge who does the better jobs.”
So Satan and Jesus sat down at the key boards and type away. They moused. They did spreadsheets. They wrote reports. They sent faxes. They sent email. They sent out with attachments. They downloaded. They did some genealogy reports. They made cards. They was up, lighting suddenly flash across the sky, thunder rolled, the rain poured and the electricity went off. Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed out every curse word known in the underworld. JESUS just sighed. The electricity finally flickered back on, and the two restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming “it’s gone! It’s all gone! I lost everything when the power went out! Meanwhile, JESUS quietly started printing out of all his files from the past two hours. Satan observed this and became ever more irate.
“Wait! He cheated how did he do it?! God Shrugged and said, “JESUS SAVES.”

LOVE

Leviticus 19:18
“Stop being angry and don’t try to take revenge. I am the Lord, and I Command you to LOVE others as much as you LOVE yourself.”

Someone the command to LOVE doesn’t get through to us. We may confess that we lack a strong faith, but seldom do we admit that we are deficient in love. Perhaps we feel we’re as loving as the next person, and maybe a little bit more. After all, we’re sensitive to the hurts of other people. But deep inside we know that genuine caring reaches beyond feelings to action. Caring like a steam or electricity isn’t worth much unless something happen as a result of it. Love deeds is useless, just as talent not demonstrated in creative way is wasted. Both must be expressed or they are no better than a myth. Because we can’t do nothing or everything, we often don’t do everything. If you want to be a loving person, don’t start by taking on the needs of the whole world. Start caring about one person and build from them. we/you cant’ do everything but you can do something. What you can do, you should

FOREVER AND EVER!!!

When I am old and grayheaded, o God, Do not forsake me, until I declare your strength to his generation.
Getting older doesn’t mean becoming obsolete. It can mean growing, maturing, serving, ministering, enjoying ourselves to the end of our days to idle away our last years is rob ourselves of what could be the best years of our lives and to deprive the church given to enrich it. There is still service to be rendered and there are victories to be won. And we should remain open to being used by greatest usefulness may be to pass our understanding of God on to others.

Its’ Not An Easy Road - Christian Illustration

I have a friend who’s trying to find through the fog of doubt. While he still believes that God is good, much of what he’s experiencing seems to contradict that. He’s questioning the value of virtue because he sees another person’s vice on go unfinished. Although he knows that he ought to enjoy his walk with God, right now it’s more duty than delight.

I also have an acquaintance that seems to be trying to hold on to God with one hand while clutching her sins in the other. To anyone who’s questioning the value of walking with God, I would reply: saying no to selfish choices and saying yes to Gods commands may not be easy, but it’s the only way to experience true and lasting joy.

Psalm 112 declares the person who respects God and wants to please Him will enjoy his favor. The doesn’t guarantee a trouble free life, of course, but it does assure us that we can have peace even in the tough times.

We can delight in knowing God’s blessing is on us, even when the road is not easy.

Success

Success is achieving someone's goal and pursuing more. But what does success really mean?

Success is not when you are the only one who pass the midterm exam. It is not when you got the most expensive bag in the whole world. It is not when you have the most popular boyfriend or girlfriend in town. Success is not when you can hold your feelings towards someone then afterwards throw it. It is not when you can resist a certain desire for someone. Success is not when you can please everyone and they will look up to you. It is not when you are the richest adn most successful politician in the world. It is not when you have a family that is almost perfect. Success does not indicate how much money you have in the bank, or how many friends you can count on your fingers. It is not a scale that says that if you know everything you are in success. But above everything success is when you are satisfy in your life. It is when you can please your "CREATOR" everyday in your life. Success is only found in God. It is when you are ready to give everuthing and do anything for him. It is when you are willing to lay down every single detail in your life and trudt him fully, admitting that you can do nothing apart from him. Success is when you humble your self down and give up your pride. Success is when you can deny yourself for him.--that is Succces

Commitment

Commitment

Imagine being able to do anything you wanted to do without having to concern about the cost or consequences. You could have success without risk or sacrifices, example like studying/education without exams.

We all realize, though that’s not the way life works. To know the joy of success, we must pay the price of commitment and learned from our failures and mistakes.

Our commitment to Christ will be tested as well. We may falter and need to be restored sometimes we will have to pay a price- suffering and resection. But the only way to know the joy of Christ’s approval is to give. Our live is unreservedly to him when we do, He will work through us.

“Commitment comes with a cost it’s not easy road.”

"Walk, Don’t Run" on the corridors

When I was in high school my teachers always get mad in us whenever we run off the corridors. They get mad whenever we run because we’re in rush or just plain playing. Whenever me and my other friends run on the corridors we always get tired and we take a rest laughing at the discipline officer and say sorry. One day when I was on the forth floor of our building the president of the Science Club said that our adviser in the club needs me in an urgent meeting, so I ran off the corridors and stairs then on my way we bump on each other and I fell on the stairs. Then the next thing I remember is that I was on the clinic lying. My head really aches and I had so many scars. The nurse said that I should not run on the corridors and stairs because it’s too dangerous for me. Then I was lying on the bed thinking what had happened I realized that I should obey the rules, this is what I get from being stubborn, and hard headed. And I also remember those times that I ran away from God’s will and plan. It’s like running on the corridors you will always get tired of running and for worst get hurt, you will always get tired of running. God is powerful He can do everything. He knows what’s good for us and what we need. He will not do anything that will cause us to hurt, he loves us that’s why he prepares the right path for us. Now as being child of God we should be walking not running on his will, if he says this so it coz that is good. Now I will not try to run after what happened to me. I will walk on the corridors and stairs for my safety and I will walk through God’s will for his glory. I will not run anymore.

I Love Him So Much--I coudn't Resist

(BY MAKEL)

"His the nicest guy I've ever met in my entire life, his all of me, i could't live without him by my side his the best."

I met Him July of 2004.Actually, I heard many good things about Him. They said his thoughtfull, honest, caring, trusthworthy, they said His "PERFECT" that no one could be better than Him. I just ignore it.For me it's natural that when you admire a certain personality you can say every good things that person has even more. One they when I was walking for school my classmate told me that there going to have a simple party for us and I was so excited I planned everything that I will do the clothes I will wear but at party I end up so natural. My hair is ragged, my clothes aren't that nice and I don't feel like I belong, It's simply wasn't my place.So... I was sitting to that corner when I saw Him. His looking at me that time, looking at me with a smile on His face then as the speaker continue to speak he slowly came to. He did not let his eyes of me till then He introduce Himself and that's the start of this feelings towards him, this longing to always be with Him, they overjoy everytime I think of Him. After that day, few meetings came. Meetings after meetings at last I said "yes" to HIm " yes I love you too". When that man came to my life He gets into every detail of my life. From my talking, my actions, to thinking. He change the way I think about life, He change everything to make me a better person. He did everything to make me feel so special, He always says I Love You and His always there to me. His really nice and so sweet I love him.

One Way

There is no lasting earthly satisfaction. Marriage, friend, family, money, fame, enlightment, travel, athletics, academic achievement—nothing complete our joy. Any satisfaction we gain in our quest fades quickly and become a vague memory. If it can be remembered at all.

Oh, to be sure, they are a lot of happy events along the way, unexpected are fleeting and we can never go back in time to relive them and recapture the sensation. Why then do we keep seeking for something to satisfy us? Simply put it’s because we have to. Whether we realize it or not, out souls are thirsting for God. Every aspiration, every longing of our nature is nothing less than a yearning for God. We were born for His love and we cannot live without it. He is the happiness for which we have been searching all our lives. Everything that we desire is found in Him and infinitely more.

John 7:37 says “Come to me and drink”. JESUS invitation. So, when you find yourself restless and thirsting for something more in life, all we need to do is respond to JESUS invitation. Go to Him, Drink freely of His grace and forgiveness and experience true JOY.

Coming Home

{Note: this story came from true to life story.)

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called His parents from San Francisco.

“Mom and Dad, I’m coming home, but I’ve a favor to ask. I have a friend I’d like to bring home with me”.

“Sure” they replied.” With love to meet him.”

There something you should know.” The son continued. “He was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mime and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us.”

I’m sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live”

No mom and dad, I want him to live with us”.

“Son” said the father; you don’t know what you’re asking.

Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden to us.

We have our own lives to live, and we can’t let something like this interfere with our lives. Think you should just come on home and forget about this guy. He’ll fond a away to live on his own.” At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police, their son died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believe it was suicide.

The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son, they recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn’t know their son had only one arm and leg.

Bible

Bible

I’ll always remember our pastor who held up his well worn Bible and said “Every believer should wreck a copy of the BIBLE every 10 years”. In other words, we should use our Bibles so much that we gradually wear out. His challenge also reminds me of the falling apart is usually owned by someone who isn’t. This certainly became true for me.

One day I sensed that God was reminding me His word is full of truth that works. From that point on, I desired to put those truths into action in my life. For me, the Bible was no longer just a guilt producer and a dust collector. Little by little, as I read it, digested it, and underlined key phrases, my Bible began falling apart. Instead of me! As a Christian we must put into practice every verses or passages we read from the Bible or God’s Word, proving that they work.

The WORD of God is living and wonderful”. Hebrews 4:12

Life

Lonely Life

Statistically speaking, it should be impossible to be lonely on planet earth. After all, there are more than 6 billion of us roaming around this planet.

But many people in our world are lonely. One of my friends told me that she has outlived every close relative or friend in her life. In her loneliness, she wonders why God allows her to remain. If you’re lonely, perhaps we can offer some encouragement. Using God’s Word, Discover how the following three actions can help ease your loneliness.

Learn Contentment: Philippians 4:10-13, then ask God to help you to depend on Him each day and learn to be content in any situation.

Do Good for Someone: Hebrews 13:1-3, then looks someone in need of help. You’ll get rid of loneliness for both of you.

Worship with God’s People: Hebrews 10:21-25, emphasizes the value of worshiping with other believers. Find someone with whom you can Praise God.

If you are feeling all alone lean for contentment. Help someone else. And worship God with other believers. These actions will redirect your thinking and remind you that when you know God you’re never alone.

Many people are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges”

We Are Aliens @ War

"Our citizenship is
in Heaven..."
-Phillipians 3:20

There was a young girl that has been adapted by a family who lived in Australia. That young girl's nationality is Chinese. She is a survivor from a tragic shipwrecked where her parents died 3 years ago. She 7 years old at that time. They we're about to go to Singapore for vacation when a storm came in on their way, millions of passenger died on that tragic night including her parents. She survived and was bought orphanage in Taiwan.luckily a couple saw her and have pity on her thats why she adapted by them. The couple brought her to Australia to have a new life with them. She had a hard time adjusting on her days of staying there, she had a hard time adapting the culture of the country. Because she is not familiar with their language she find it hard to communicate to them and because of that she always tease by her classmates at school. In 3 years of staying there she doesn't even found a friend. She work everything on her own thats why her adapted parents decided to her to China where she truly belongs.

For us Christians, we are aliens here in the world. Aliens whose always at war. Like the girl in the story we don't know the language and the life style of those people around. But take heart heart, do not be afraid 'coz GOD will provide our strenght. We are always at war, temptation is everywhere. Our real home is in heaven. We are strangers from the perfect world. So always gear up, never give up and live like a strangers that people will recognize your differences and with that difference GOD will be glorify.

I Peter 2:11

"Dear friends, I urge you, as Aliens and strangers in the world, to obstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul."

I Thank God I Dont Have Anything

In my way going home I saw people around. They have a very good model of cellphone. They have nice clothes, I simply smile and wish i have those stuff as them.As I continued walking I saw a group of friends chatting, launghing and eating delicious foods at a very fancy restaurant, I saw people playing their PSP, I saw people with their cars and I realized I dont have any of those. I cant eat on afancy restaurant, I dont have PSP to play with, even a simple car i dont have. I felt so sad watching them enjoying those stuff I wish i had, I sad that all I have in me is the clothes I wear and myself.I dont even have money to ride a jeep going home. I just continued walking leaving them with sadness and jealousy in my heart. Then I past by on a park near side the river, I saw a shadow forming a very familliar image I know, we all know. The cross, I stop for a while thinking all the things I saw along the way, thinking ll those stuff I wanted to be mine. Then I just smile and felt that all those things is part of my foolishness. Yes I dont have a car, nice clothes , I dont eat on a fancy restaurant, But i have GOD in my heart. When I saw that cross I finally thank him that I dont have anything, because I can fully depend on GOD. All my needs He will provide, all this emptiness he will supply. I thank GOD i dont have anything 'coz out of that nothing I recognized His power and provision.

Worship

Why Worship?

Why sometimes that we have a difficulty going to church? Some would tell us that it’s better to sleep late on Sunday, eat a leisurely breakfast, and lounge around talking with the family. And then maybe have lunch with friends or enjoy a picnic and games with your brothers and sister. Make it a day that’s different and even restful, “some would say but don’t waste time by going to church on Sunday!”

Worship? Who do you needs worship anyway? We all do! We need worship because we are unique creatures made in the image of God. We are for God, so we can’t our purpose unless we develop a right relationship with Him. And worship helps us to do that when we focus on the Lord.

As we join with other worshipers in church, our hearts are lifted out of this temporal. World into God’s eternal world. According to William temple, in worship the conscience is quickened by holiness of God, the MIND is fed by the truth of God, the Imagination is purged by the beauty of God, the Hear is opened to the love of God, and the will is devoted to the purpose of God. And we are helped onward in our goal of becoming more like God. Let’s decide now that every Sunday we will be in church with heart prepared worship.

Money - Christian Illustration

Money is Power. That drives most cultures of the world. People today fight for wealth, often at the price personal integrity, in order to gain the power to live where and how they want, drive the kind of vehicle they want, and get whatever else they want.

In a culture that worships money, believers in Jesus Christ are in danger of doing the same. Some use their money to control someone lives, even their own family, friends, relatives or they may threaten to stop giving to their church if they don’t get their way.

How unlike Jesus! Jesus Christ son of God Had power over disease, and He used it to heal the sick. He had had power over the sea, and He used it to remove fear. He had power over his own life, yet He willingly gave up His life to save all who would call upon Him. Jesus possessed all power, but He used it to serve others and protect and heal who believes in Him.

Instead of using money or anything else for selfish means, used it to serve others, like what Jesus did, that the use of power.

Let it Shine

Matthew 5:16

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven...”

As a new Sunday school teacher in our church. I really realized that how important the teachers in molding the students in the way trusting God, to love Him, and have faith at their young age. As a follower of Christ we must be a good model for our student. As a young man I understood that I should not be ashamed to live for Jesus. A secret Christian was like a lamp hidden under a basket instead of shining openly where it could help other. Today, people around us are in spiritual danger and darkness. Young or old, we can let our light shine for him and for them. “A single light can provide hope in the darkest night.”

How can we find courage?

As a college student, I enjoy my studies, being part of some ministries in our church and a lot of things. I usually wake up in the morning eagerly and get out of bed and go to school. But one day I became discouraged when I thought about our family’s financial problems. I grew fearful as I thought about my future and even my family’s future. The question is: “How can we find courage?” some find it in a group, some depend on their achievement, and some try to boost their self confidence by raising their voice or make a loud noise. But these do nothing more than camouflage their insecurity.

As God’s people, our confidence comes from our relationship with Him. He is with us and we are His people. As we keep this truth in our mind, we will find courage to continue working in a way that pleases God and bring us joy.

"Be strong, all you people of the Lord” says the Lord, “and work; for I am with you.”

Only you Can Be You...

God designed each of us so there would no duplication in the world. no one has the exact mix of factors that make you unique. that means no one else on each will ever be able to play the role God planned for you. if you don't make your unique contribution to the body of Christ, it won't be made. remember that...PLEASE...God bless

Friend - Christian Illustration

What is FRIEND??
Some of us, or all of us need at least one or two friend or BEST FRIEND. even you are Christians,non-believers or what religion you are, everyone leaving in this earth can't stand alone without of what we called " Friend "
As i asked one of my friend what is the definition of friend for him. And he defined it as " Someone who knows all about you and likes you just the same." But as i continuously searched for the definition of friend. i read about Henry Durban ville who made some studies and observation about Friendship. according to him " A friends is the first person to come in when the whole world goes out." And that's how he defined it. but as i searching for definition i remember the event happened two years before in our church.the event took place was entitled of " A friend loves at all times" proverbs 17:17...

we can't improve on that definition to have someone who remains true to us under all circumstances is one of life's choicest blessings. the support, comport, and encouragement that only an intimate friend can offer is sorely needed when the burdens of life weigh heavily upon us. and you feel alone and nobody love you or care for you. don't worry their was an ultimate friend, for He laid down His life and that was JESUS. makes an important point and takes us beyond a description of what it means to be a friend. it says that " a man who has friends must himself be friendly." the implication is clear. friendliness must began with us . we must take the initiative in developing relationship with others.let us be to others what we desires for ourselves. when it comes to friends, to have one you must be one.
