Commitment

Commitment

Imagine being able to do anything you wanted to do without having to concern about the cost or consequences. You could have success without risk or sacrifices, example like studying/education without exams.

We all realize, though that’s not the way life works. To know the joy of success, we must pay the price of commitment and learned from our failures and mistakes.

Our commitment to Christ will be tested as well. We may falter and need to be restored sometimes we will have to pay a price- suffering and resection. But the only way to know the joy of Christ’s approval is to give. Our live is unreservedly to him when we do, He will work through us.

“Commitment comes with a cost it’s not easy road.”

"Walk, Don’t Run" on the corridors

When I was in high school my teachers always get mad in us whenever we run off the corridors. They get mad whenever we run because we’re in rush or just plain playing. Whenever me and my other friends run on the corridors we always get tired and we take a rest laughing at the discipline officer and say sorry. One day when I was on the forth floor of our building the president of the Science Club said that our adviser in the club needs me in an urgent meeting, so I ran off the corridors and stairs then on my way we bump on each other and I fell on the stairs. Then the next thing I remember is that I was on the clinic lying. My head really aches and I had so many scars. The nurse said that I should not run on the corridors and stairs because it’s too dangerous for me. Then I was lying on the bed thinking what had happened I realized that I should obey the rules, this is what I get from being stubborn, and hard headed. And I also remember those times that I ran away from God’s will and plan. It’s like running on the corridors you will always get tired of running and for worst get hurt, you will always get tired of running. God is powerful He can do everything. He knows what’s good for us and what we need. He will not do anything that will cause us to hurt, he loves us that’s why he prepares the right path for us. Now as being child of God we should be walking not running on his will, if he says this so it coz that is good. Now I will not try to run after what happened to me. I will walk on the corridors and stairs for my safety and I will walk through God’s will for his glory. I will not run anymore.

I Love Him So Much--I coudn't Resist

(BY MAKEL)

"His the nicest guy I've ever met in my entire life, his all of me, i could't live without him by my side his the best."

I met Him July of 2004.Actually, I heard many good things about Him. They said his thoughtfull, honest, caring, trusthworthy, they said His "PERFECT" that no one could be better than Him. I just ignore it.For me it's natural that when you admire a certain personality you can say every good things that person has even more. One they when I was walking for school my classmate told me that there going to have a simple party for us and I was so excited I planned everything that I will do the clothes I will wear but at party I end up so natural. My hair is ragged, my clothes aren't that nice and I don't feel like I belong, It's simply wasn't my place.So... I was sitting to that corner when I saw Him. His looking at me that time, looking at me with a smile on His face then as the speaker continue to speak he slowly came to. He did not let his eyes of me till then He introduce Himself and that's the start of this feelings towards him, this longing to always be with Him, they overjoy everytime I think of Him. After that day, few meetings came. Meetings after meetings at last I said "yes" to HIm " yes I love you too". When that man came to my life He gets into every detail of my life. From my talking, my actions, to thinking. He change the way I think about life, He change everything to make me a better person. He did everything to make me feel so special, He always says I Love You and His always there to me. His really nice and so sweet I love him.

One Way

There is no lasting earthly satisfaction. Marriage, friend, family, money, fame, enlightment, travel, athletics, academic achievement—nothing complete our joy. Any satisfaction we gain in our quest fades quickly and become a vague memory. If it can be remembered at all.

Oh, to be sure, they are a lot of happy events along the way, unexpected are fleeting and we can never go back in time to relive them and recapture the sensation. Why then do we keep seeking for something to satisfy us? Simply put it’s because we have to. Whether we realize it or not, out souls are thirsting for God. Every aspiration, every longing of our nature is nothing less than a yearning for God. We were born for His love and we cannot live without it. He is the happiness for which we have been searching all our lives. Everything that we desire is found in Him and infinitely more.

John 7:37 says “Come to me and drink”. JESUS invitation. So, when you find yourself restless and thirsting for something more in life, all we need to do is respond to JESUS invitation. Go to Him, Drink freely of His grace and forgiveness and experience true JOY.

Coming Home

{Note: this story came from true to life story.)

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called His parents from San Francisco.

“Mom and Dad, I’m coming home, but I’ve a favor to ask. I have a friend I’d like to bring home with me”.

“Sure” they replied.” With love to meet him.”

There something you should know.” The son continued. “He was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mime and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us.”

I’m sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live”

No mom and dad, I want him to live with us”.

“Son” said the father; you don’t know what you’re asking.

Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden to us.

We have our own lives to live, and we can’t let something like this interfere with our lives. Think you should just come on home and forget about this guy. He’ll fond a away to live on his own.” At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police, their son died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believe it was suicide.

The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son, they recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn’t know their son had only one arm and leg.

Bible

Bible

I’ll always remember our pastor who held up his well worn Bible and said “Every believer should wreck a copy of the BIBLE every 10 years”. In other words, we should use our Bibles so much that we gradually wear out. His challenge also reminds me of the falling apart is usually owned by someone who isn’t. This certainly became true for me.

One day I sensed that God was reminding me His word is full of truth that works. From that point on, I desired to put those truths into action in my life. For me, the Bible was no longer just a guilt producer and a dust collector. Little by little, as I read it, digested it, and underlined key phrases, my Bible began falling apart. Instead of me! As a Christian we must put into practice every verses or passages we read from the Bible or God’s Word, proving that they work.

The WORD of God is living and wonderful”. Hebrews 4:12

Life

Lonely Life

Statistically speaking, it should be impossible to be lonely on planet earth. After all, there are more than 6 billion of us roaming around this planet.

But many people in our world are lonely. One of my friends told me that she has outlived every close relative or friend in her life. In her loneliness, she wonders why God allows her to remain. If you’re lonely, perhaps we can offer some encouragement. Using God’s Word, Discover how the following three actions can help ease your loneliness.

Learn Contentment: Philippians 4:10-13, then ask God to help you to depend on Him each day and learn to be content in any situation.

Do Good for Someone: Hebrews 13:1-3, then looks someone in need of help. You’ll get rid of loneliness for both of you.

Worship with God’s People: Hebrews 10:21-25, emphasizes the value of worshiping with other believers. Find someone with whom you can Praise God.

If you are feeling all alone lean for contentment. Help someone else. And worship God with other believers. These actions will redirect your thinking and remind you that when you know God you’re never alone.

Many people are lonely because they build walls instead of bridges”
